Founded in 1999, Momentum Group is a leading provider of innovative and cost-effective e-Learning solutions to leading organizations around the world. Our focus is on compliance-based training and occupational health & safety. We've developed Web-based e-Learning "Campuses" for some of the best known organizations in the safety industry.
At Momentum Group our sole purpose is to design and support exceptional e-Learning. We believe that an e-Learning platform should scale as you grow, but more importantly, it should be easy-to-use and fit with your method of instruction, capture the essence of your philosophy and help ensure student success.
Our business approach is to work with traditional learning institutions and not-for-profit organizations in order to make the transition to online delivery as easy as possible.
We separate ourselves from our competition by offering our expertise at a significantly reduced cost and then we share in the success of the online initiative with our clients. Our philosophy is to bear a portion of the initial risk of development and therefore we are only successful if our partners are successful through the participation of their clientele. We believe that this differentiates Momentum IT Group by allowing organizations to offer and “test the waters” of an online training initiative, without disbursing a substantial portion of capital.
Furthermore, most companies that offer LMS charge a flat licensing fee based on a predetermined number of users; we believe that this puts the organization wanting to put educational content online at a serious risk as there is no telling what will be the initial participation rate of their members or target audience. Even through the best forecasting efforts, the timing of online training participation is almost impossible to determine, therefore, an organization might purchase a 1000 user license in the first year of the course offering but only 100 people take the course.
Momentum IT Group’s revenue sharing model is based on a “per seat” basis; this alleviates any extra charges for un-used services as opposed to a user license fee, where this type of extra costs most often occur.
